The country is also known for its cultural diversity, with more than 170 national languages, and English is one of the official languages. Most Filipino residents believe in Catholicism, and other major religions include Islam, Christianity and Buddhism.

The Philippine economy is based on the service industry as its main pillar, such as overseas part-time labor, tourism, outsourcing and trade. Agriculture also plays an important role. High-yielding agricultural products include rice, fruits, bananas, coconuts, palm oil and coffee. In addition, mining is also an important economic pillar of the country. The Filipino people are hospitable and like to communicate and gather. Many locals are willing to help tourists, making tourists feel the beauty of "Oriental Hawaii". The country is also home to many delicacies such as roasted pig, adobo, Filipino sandwiches and Manila clam chowder, among others, which inherit the country’s mixed culture, with both Western and Eastern flavours.

As a foreign trade worker from China, I was fortunate to be able to join a business inspection team traveling to the Philippines, a Southeast Asian country. During our trip, we visited the company in Manila, while also touring the local beauty and experiencing several local cultures.

First of all, I felt the warmth and openness of the Philippines. During our visit we met many locals who always greeted us friendly and took the initiative to introduce their culture and lifestyle to us. During the communication with them, we learned some information about the history, culture and language of the Philippines, which provided us with some inspiration for the development of subsequent work.

Secondly, I was a little shocked by the traffic in downtown Manila. After all, the traffic jams we sometimes encounter in our country are mainly concentrated in big cities, but compared with Manila, they are obviously a little weak, especially during peak hours. But at the same time, I also feel that the local people’s coping methods and skills in dealing with traffic are really worth learning.

In addition, we also had the opportunity to visit some nature reserves and tourist attractions. Those beautiful beaches, clear waters, lush forests and towering volcanoes were an eye-opener for us. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Philippines has landscapes and landscapes that are not to be missed and is a country worth visiting and exploring.

In subsequent business activities, we held some exchange meetings with local companies. Our local partners were very friendly and professional. We discussed cooperation plans and goals, and exchanged some industry information. I have also developed some cooperation intentions and plan to visit the country again in the future and explore it in depth.

Finally, I was very impressed with the Filipino food. The local restaurants offer a variety of local-style cuisine, some of which we have yet to try. My favorite thing in my busy schedule is the subtraction soup. Its fragrant taste makes me admire the diversity of local food.
